Virginia’s Obituary Boonville- Virginia B. Martin, 102, passed away at Sunset Nursing Home on June 10, 2019. She was born in Erie, PA on April 9, 1917 and lived in New York City and Long Island before moving with her husband, John, to Forestport over 50 years ago. She was active in the Forestport Presbyterian Church, Boonville VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Boonville Community chorus. Virginia will be remembered by her sunny and kind disposition, ready smile, and beautiful blue eyes. She will be missed by all who knew her. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, John and son, Douglas (BoonMon). She is survived by her loving companion, Donald Frank of Boonville, who provided her with unwavering love and support every day for many years, a remarkable commitment that will always be remembered by Virginia’s family. She is also survived by her son, James Martin (Lydia) of La Vale, MD and her son Kenneth Martin (Cheryle) of Boonville and New Smyrna Beach, FL. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. At Virginia’s request, a private service was held.
