Tammie’s Obituary Ms. Tammie Renee Crew age 51 of Hwy 2 Blue Ridge passed away peacefully on Friday June 14, 2019 in the Kennestone Hospital following a brief illness. Ms. Crew was born on October 25, 1967 in Douglasville, GA the daughter of the late Mable Louise Fain Crew. Tammie was known for her genuine heart and hilarious sense of humor. She was blessed with the ability to shine her light out into the world and touch the hearts of everyone that she met. She was a loyal friend with a generous spirit. Even in death, she will be touching other people’s lives. She became an organ donor and felt solace in helping those in need. Tammie had a passion for music and dancing. She was the one at work that would break it down in the middle of her shift just to get a laugh and make everyone smile. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and was a loyal friend. Tammie was of the Christian faith. Surviving Tammie are one daughter and son in law, Nicole and Dalton Kerlegon of Marietta, one son, Dakota Knox of Blairsville, three sisters and two brothers in law, Reba and Michael Harkins of Blairsville, Annette and David Cooper of Douglasville, Sheila Crew of Mableton, one brother, Ralph Fain of Marietta, four grandchildren. Kaden, Kaleb, Dylan and Grayson, her true friend, Olivia Pickens of Blue Ridge, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family request that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer in Tammie’s memory.
