Steven’s Obituary SHERBURN: A Service of Remembrance for Steven R. Rittenhouse, 63, of Sherburn will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn, Minnesota with Father Jonathan Fasnacht as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery in Sherburn, Minnesota. Steven was called to his eternal rest on Sunday evening, February 24, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont, Minnesota. Please share a memory of Steven with the family, sign his online guest book at www.kramerfuneralhome.com Steven Robert Rittenhouse was born on February 28, 1955 to Robert and Helen (Flanner) Rittenhouse in Fairmont, Minnesota. He made his home in Fairmont until moving to St. Peter and Faribault. Since 1990 he has lived at COR in Sherburn. Steven had a golden smile and loved being outdoors. He had an appreciation for music, enjoyed going for a walk or ride, and loved watching outdoor activities, especially cars and trucks. Steven enjoyed rides through the countryside to watch farmers planting in the spring and harvesting in the fall. Steven attended day programming at STEP Inc. in Fairmont. He was always eager to attend and generally was one of the first out the door each morning to ride on his bus! He is survived by his parents, Robert and Helen Rittenhouse of Pillager, Minnesota; sisters, Brenda (Brent) Blevins of Hooper, Nebraska and Lori (Bruce) Siljgord of Motley, Minnesota; brother, Randy (Candie) Rittenhouse of Motley, Minnesota and other relatives and friends at COR and STEP.
