Roger L. Martin, age 72, passed away at his home on Monday, June 10, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 1, 1946 in Pontiac, MI to Leroy and Marie (Guibord) Martin. On November 18, 1965, Roger married the former Regina (Ferguson) Martin and they shared 53 years together. In the 1990’s, he and Regina moved to Twin Lake, MI and there they made a place to call home. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Penske Logistics, but he was a man of many trades. Roger enjoyed hunting, working on cars, and playing horseshoes at family cookouts, but he had a passion for fishing. He loved making his way to the Ausable River in Oscoda, MI for fishing trips. He will be truly missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Regina Martin; 5 children, Scott (Alma) Martin, Michelle (Bobby) Martin, Roger (Lynn) Martin, Eric (Christina) Martin, and Jason (Angie) Martin; brother, Jeff Martin; 2 sisters, Jackie Gascoigne and Vicki Dassow; 9 grandchildren, David Jonathan, Alexis, Austin, Matt, Jessica, Krystalle, Luke, Jason Tyler and Jonathan.
