Richard Walter Wincheski, 83, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 in St. Joseph County. Richard was born July 4, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Clarence and Lena (Michelini) Wincheski. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. On January 28, 1961 in Chicago, Richard married Marlene Laska; and she survives. Richard was a Counselor for Military Veterans for ten years retiring December 31, 1998. Surviving is his wife Marlene of Aurora, Illinois; daughter Diane Wincheski and Howard of Sugar Grove, Illinois; son Richard Wincheski of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; son Robert Wincheski of Batavia, Illinois; son Buzz Wincheski of Williamsburg, Virginia; daughter Vicki Wincheski and Ryan of Sugar Grove, Illinois. Also surviving are his grandchildren Katlin, Michael, Jonathon Howard of Sugar Grove, Illinois; Riley, Reese, Reagan Wincheski of Sugar Grove, Illinois; Erica Wincheski of Aurora, Illinois; Louis, Clara Wincheski of Williamsburg, Virginia, Morgan, Mckenna Ryan of Sugar Grove, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. A Memorial service will take place Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Illinois.
