Rhea Roundy Litz November 25, 1923 ~ June 24, 2019 Rhea passed away peacefully Monday, June 24, 2019 at age 95. She was born November 25, 1923 in Pocatello, Idaho to Joseph Moroni and Ruby Selina Corbridge Roundy. She married Morris Spackman Litz on November 2, 1942 in Preston, Idaho with the marriage later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on October 10, 1968. She is survived by three of her four children, Norris Roundy Litz of Roy, Utah; Christine Litz Norton of Ogden, Utah; and Brent E Litz of Ogden, Utah. Rhea was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Spackman Litz; and her daughter, Pamela Litz. Rhea retired from Defense Depot Ogden as a civil servant and instilled a strong work ethic in her children. As a depression era survivor she learned the value of an honest day’s work and the need to stay active. She was involved in her church serving in many positions during her life. Her biggest joy in life was being with her three children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The young ones always put a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She enjoyed camping, crafting, gardening and was often found playing pinochle with friends and family to keep her math skills sharp. A short funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
