As a young man he lived in many different cities in New York State. In 1978, Ray moved to Gloversville, New York and became a part of the Lexington family. He was a very congenial, gentle man who was loved by all. He loved western movies and John Wayne was his hero. He enjoyed everything Western and would be seen at local rodeos in fairs where everyone knew him as Sheriff. Hee Haw was his favorite show. He found a lot of pleasure in food and love going out to eat. He was a true country gentleman and his favorite meals needed to include meat and potatoes. He enjoyed the company of his friends and made new friends easily. Birdwatching was a past time he also enjoyed. Sheriff will be missed by all who knew him.
