Randy Lee Bentley, age 63 of Taylorsville passed away at Catawba Memorial Medical Center in Hickory on June 1, 2019 after a brief period of declining health. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, the late Roy and Betty Bentley. He was the former pastor at Dudley Shoals Church of God, enjoyed studying God’s word, an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family. Those left to cherish the memories of Randy include his son Aaron U. Bentley currently enlisted in the US Army and stationed in Germany, one daughter Leah R Bentley and fiancé Jacob Brownlow of Hiddenite and one brother Jeff Bentley. Visitation will be at Alexander Funeral Service on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 2:30 pm until 3:15 pm with the funeral service following at 3:30 pm. Burial will be at Friendly Baptist Church in Bethlehem following the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
