Rafael Santiago, age 73, of Pennsauken, NJ passed away on June 10, 2019, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He was born January 9, 1946 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Proxedes Santiago and Celedonia Alameda. Rafael was known as a motivated hard working man, who loved to work. He enjoyed exercising. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Rafael is predeceased by his parents, Proxedes Santiago and Celedonia Alameda; son, Joseph Santiago; and siblings, Vincent Santiago, Elizabeth Marin, Sixto Rodriguez, Cecilia Caban, Richard Santiago, Saida Santiago, Alex Santiago, and Proxedes Santiago. He is survived by his wife Ana Santiago; sons, Rafael Santiago, Jr. and Vincent Santiago; siblings, Edwin Santiago, Audalina Ruiz, Fedora Ibbarondo, Amelia Santiago, and Rosemary Olive; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, June 15, 2019, 6pm-8pm at Funeraria Hernandez, located at 2426 Cove Rd. Pennsauken, NJ 08109.
