Rachel Funderburk Mack September 19, 1930 – June 30, 2019 Rachel Funderburk Mack, age 88, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Cleveland Pines. Born in Chesterfield County SC on September 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Luther Park and Nina Alice Plyler Funderburk. Rachel was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church, she was a former Sunday School Teacher starting with the youth and moving to the Senior Adults. She was a graduate from Wingate Jr. College and Meredith College with a degree in Business. Shel worked as a secretary for her husband in their accounting firm, Charles Mack Accounting. Rachel loved gardening and working in her azaleas. In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her husband Charles Ernest Mack Jr., three brothers, Darrell Funderburk, Bobby Funderburk and Franklin Funderburk. Rachel is survived by three sons,Charlie Mack III and wife Melissa of Fort Worth TX, Ron Mack and wife Roxie of State Road, Roger Mack of Columbia SC.; a special friend that Rachel loved like a daughter, Dawne Campbell of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Morgan McGinley , Charles Mack IV and wife Sarah, Rupard Mack and fiancee LeAnn Beasley, Rheannon Williamson and husband Jason, Rebekah Mack; and two great grandchildren, Bethany Williamson and Henry Mack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
