Homer’s Obituary ALEXANDER, Homer Lee, Jr., age 75, of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his family.Homer worked hard all his life, and took care of his family. Farming was his passion, and he loved raising Santa Gertrudis cattle. He was an avid camper and enjoyed working with his grandson in Boy Scouts. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer, Sr. and Ruby Alexander; brothers and sisters, John Alexander, Francis June Chachere, Charles Alexander, Fred Alexander, and Emilie Rakonva. Survivors: Wife, Katie Alexander; Daughter, Tonya Alexander Claiborne; Grandson, Sean Alexander Claiborne; Step grandsons, Anthony Angevine, Benjamin Claiborne; Great grandchildren, Roslyn and Bryce Angevine; Nieces and nephews, John Alexander, Josh Alexander, Huey P. Chachere, Lisa Chachere, Mark Charchere, Michael Chachere, Charles Allen Alexander, Carol Huffsetetler, Debbie Alexander, Stephen Rakonva, and Cathlynn Rakonva .
