Patricia Gage, 94, of West Burke, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. Patricia was born on February 28 1925 in New Bedford, MA the daughter of Umberto and Maria (DiPaula) Machado. She was married for 23 years to Kenneth E. Gage until he passed in 1978. She grew up in Old Saybrook,CT and lived there until 1979 when she moved to White River Jct. Upon retirement, she moved to South Royalton. In 2007 she moved to West Burke to be closer to her family. Patricia was an avid reader who also enjoyed crossword puzzles, crafts and putting together puzzles. Also known as Pat, Gram, Gramma, and Nana. Gram had a wry sense of humor and loved to crack jokes. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary in White River Jct #2571 and the Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her grandchildren: Frank Maloney and companion Allison Poulin, Vincent Malone and companion Kristin Brooks and Carole Maloney; 3 great grandchildren: Jackson , Malcolm, and Ava Maloney, many nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; her daughter, Marie LaBossiere; her siblings: Manuel Machado, Joseph Machado, Mary Griswold and Florence Machado..
