Nellie’s Obituary Nellie Ruth Belknap, 72, of Wichita Falls, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019. Nellie was born on December 13, 1946 in Seymour, Texas to Donnie A. Belknap and Sylvia Alice (Helms) Belknap. She retired from Daltile where she worked for 30 years. In her spare time, Nellie enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, the occasional visit to the casino, and watching wrestling and Wheel-of- Fortune on T.V. She also enoyed reading the newspaper and working cross-word puzzles. Nellie had a big heart and was always willing to help others. She loved the Lord and was the best Nanny to her grandchildren who she loved to spoil. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kenny Belknap; her brothers, Arnold, Kenneth, Tommy, and Jimmy; and her sister, Kathryn. She is survived by her son, Michael Belknap and wife Ginger; her sister, Mary Reid; her brother, Chester Belknap; and five grandchildren, David Belknap and wife Jessica, Tiffany Belknap, Ayla Ervin, Lyla Belknap, and Sara Nelson; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
