MARILYN RAE SULLIVAN Marilyn Rae Sullivan, 83, of Quincy, died at 5:55 a.m. Monday (June 10, 2019) in Sunset Home. Born August 20, 1935 in Seattle, Washington, Marilyn was the daughter of Harold Godfrey and Minette Krueger Sills. She married Donald F. Sullivan on April 14, 1956 in Seattle, Washington. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1994. Marilyn was a wonderful wife and great mother devoted to her family who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She and Don enjoyed traveling and playing golf at Westview. She was a member of the Women’s City Club and was well known for her love to laugh at a good joke. She had worked as a librarian in Tallmadge, Ohio and as a receptionist for a radio host (Felicia Farquard) at WKVI in Seattle, Washington. Marilyn is survived by her three children, Donald Sullivan (Clare) of Germantown, MD, Christine King (Mark) of Bloomington, IL and Bradley Sullivan (Heather Brickman-Sullivan) of Jupiter, FL, ; seven grandchildren, Kathryn Sullivan Locker (Ryan) of Cincinnati, OH, Donald J. Sullivan Jr. of Columbus, OH, Elizabeth King, Emily King, Julia King, all of Bloomington, IL, Alexander Sullivan and Clara Sullivan both of Jupiter, FL; a sister, June 10 Sills of Portland, OR; and many loving nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Don. Cremation arrangements are in the care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the Women’s City Club.
