Collier, 60, of Earlysville went peacefully home to be with Jesus on June 13, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Lori was born on September 10, 1958 to the late James and Mary Ella Snow. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Robin Snow Wood and her niece, Brandy Wood. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Michael; her son, Robert J. Collier and wife Megan, and her daughter, Nicki Burnett and husband Marcus; nine grandchildren, Duncan, Barrett and Hudson Collier and Breana, Luke, Blaise, Trayton, Ayden and Adalynne Burnett; three great-grandchildren, Sophie, Ella and Aspen. Also surviving is her sister, Trudy Wyant and husband Timmy, their children and grandchildren; brother-in-law Chester Wood, his daughter and grandchild; sister-in-law Kay Shifflett and her husband Keith and their children and grandchildren; brothers-in-law Charles and Wayne Collier; and two special family members, Chasity Burnett and Cassandra Louk. Lori was loved by everyone who met her. She had a heart of gold, and a loving, quiet spirit. She was a wonderful mother and loving Nana to her grandchildren. Her family was her life. Lori loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Nortonsville Pentecostal Church. She was a dedicated employee of Hantzmon, Weibel & Company for 27 years. She leaves behind countless friends, church family, and extended family who will miss her greatly. The family will receive friends on Monday June 17, 2019 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Nortonsville Church of God (1505 Simmons Gap Rd, Dyke, VA 22935). The funeral will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the same church, with Rev. Frankie Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Dyke, VA.
