Judy’s Obituary Judy L. Rains (nee Fiddler-Ellison), 66, of Elyria, died June 19, 2019 in her loving daughter’s arms. She was born June 17, 1953 in Elyria, was a 1972 graduate of Elyria High School and attended Southern Bible College in Beaumont, TX. She was a long time resident of CA and has resided in Elyria for the past four years. Judy was a strong Christian woman and a member of Journey Church, Avon. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, cooking, baking, spending time on the California beaches, time with family and friends, traveling, trying new experiences, and most of all living a Christ like example. Judy is survived by her mother, Mary Ellison (nee Puskas) of OH; son, Alan (Elizabeth) Rains of TX; daughter Becky Rains of CA; grandchildren, Monique, Trevor, Jacob, and Caden; sisters, Carol Pitzer and Mary Sue Ellison; brother, George (Melinda) Ellison; nieces and nephews, Todd and Jimmy Siesky, Angela Fields, Louise Elsezy, Amanda Avalos, Gary and Sarah Ellison, Stacie Papineau, and Sarah (Andy) Hernandez; and close family friend, Steve (Judy) Hotinger. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Fiddler; step-father, William Ellison; sister, Madeline Ellison; and a brother, Gary Ellison. A memorial service will be at 9:00 am Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Journey Church, 995 Center Road, Avon. Pastor Paul Grodell will officiate. Read More
