Joseph’s Obituary Mr. Joseph Peter Bobrowskas age 83 of Patrick’s Drive Blairsville passed away peacefully on Monday June 24, 2019 in the Murphy Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Bobrowskas was born on May 24, 1936 in Newark, NJ., the son of the late Joseph Bobrowskas and the late Theresa Ruggiero Bobrowskas. He was a veteran of the US Marines. Joseph retired from the Indian River County, FL. Sheriff’s Department with over twenty five years of service. He loved fishing, hunting, being outdoors and especially being on the water. He was a loving and caring husband, father and brother. He worked hard all of his life to provide for his family. He always put his family’s needs before his own. Joseph was of the Catholic faith. Surviving Mr. Bobrowskas are his loving wife and best friend of fifty nine years, Sandra Coletta Bobrowskas of Blairsville, one son, Joe Bobrowskas of Byfield, MA., one daughter, Kimberle Bobrowskas of Macon, GA., and other friends also survive. A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mountain Shelter in Joseph’s memory. Read More
