Jonah Lee Thompson, age 25, of Temple, Georgia (formerly of Douglasville), passed away suddenly Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born in Lithia Springs, Georgia on February 21, 1994, the son of Joseph Scott Thompson and Laura Carden Thompson. Jonah was a 2011 Graduate of Chapel Hill High School and worked in the computer securities sector. Jonah is survived… Read More » by his parents: Scott and Laura Carden Thompson of Douglasville; brother: Nicholas Thompson and his fiancee’, Kelsey Williams of Temple; maternal grandparents: James and Betty Carden of Tallapoosa; paternal grandmother: Jo Ann Thompson of Douglasville; aunts and uncles: Don and Cindy Carr of Cumming, GA, and Rex and Judy Carden of Savannah, GA; cousins: Lindsey Carden and Amanda Carden. His paternal grandfather, Johnny Lee Thompson, preceded him in death. In keeping with Jonah’s and his family’s wishes, his body was cremated. His family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Thursday, June 6, 2019, beginning at 3:00 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. in Hightower’s Chapel with Reverend Jeff Vaughn officiating.
