John’s Obituary John Nual McKee, 86, died May 27, 2019 in Bellville. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the Hempstead City Cemetery in Hempstead, with Pastor Leslie T. Hendrix officiating. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. John McKee was born March 5, 1933 in Tahoka, Texas to Nual Franklin and Virginia Lee (Josey) McKee. After high school graduation, he served in the U. S. Army. He was employed as a distribution manager in the grocery business. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law John Wesley and Pam McKee of Bellville; Ricky Dale and Jean McKee of Conroe, and Dennis Hilton and Denise McKee of Willis; daughters Karen Darlene McKee of Bellville, and Rhonda Sue Koch and husband Leroy of Waller; brother and sister-in-law Rusty and Pat McKee, and sister and brother-in-law Frances and Leslie Hendrix, all of Artesia NM. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his wife, Deanie Baker McKee; parents, two sisters, one grandson, and two great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Herrera, Jacob McKee, Caleb McKee, Clint Koch, Chance Herrera, and Brody Cunningham.
