Jennifer Ellen Wing October 28, 1972 – June 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Jennifer Ellen Wing, 46, of McMillan, died Wednesday morning June 26, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and the care of North Woods Hospice. Born October 28, 1972 in Stuttgart, Germany, Jennifer was a 1990 graduate of Engadine High School and continued her education at Bay de Noc Community College, Northern Michigan University and Ashford University. Jennifer was an administrative assistant at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newberry and Three Lakes Academy in Curtis for several years. She was an active volunteer at Three Lakes and instrumental in founding many of its’ programs including the gardening club and apple orchard which she was especially proud of. In addition to Three Lake Academy, Jennifer was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Shirley’s Angels, a breast cancer warrior support group. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, kayaking, hiking, cooking, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband, Paul of McMillan, whom she married December 28, 1991; children Sabrina (Kyle DeVos) of Allendale, Fiona and Niklas of McMillan; parents John Matchinski of Engadine and Peggy Huffman of Bismarck, ND; brother Johnny Matchinski of Engadine; special aunt and uncle Lynn and Dennis Wiertella of Newberry; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of her beloved community. Friends may call at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Newberry on Monday July 1, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A memorial service celebrating the life of Jennifer will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Kyle Kuehl officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Engadine.
