Jean L. (English) Andrews, age 73, of 1211 Continental Blvd., Danville, died Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Bloomsburg Care & Rehabilitation Center, Bloomsburg, where she was a guest since January, 2018. Born on February 29, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant Township, Columbia County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (McBride) English. She was a 1964 graduate of Bloomsburg High School. Jean loved all of her grandchildren, and was especially proud of her granddaughter Jessica who graduated from Luzerne County Community College with an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy. She also enjoyed traveling and attending car shows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Andrews, several infants and by two brothers: James English and Ronald English. Surviving are two daughters: Alice M., wife of Donald A. Moodie, Danville and Shirley Lynn, Washingtonville; four granddaughters: Jessica Carter, Bloomsburg; Sharla Carter, Berwick; Caitlin Moodie, Danville; Alicia Moodie, Danville; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Sandra, wife of Irvin Swank, Bloomsburg and Debra Spencer, Berwick. There are also several step-sisters, step-brothers; brothers-in-law and sister-in-laws. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
