Mrs. Jane Thorn, 78, of Almo, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at her home. Jane Ann Lassiter Thorn was born September 9, 1940 in Lynn Grove to Herman and Genova Charlton Lassiter. She was a member of Dexter church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thorn was preceded in death by a brother, John Lassiter, two sisters, Jerlene Miller and Marilyn Herndon. Mrs. Thorn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jackie Thorn of Almo; two sons, David Thorn of Mt. Juliet and Mark Thorn of Almo; two grandchildren, Jared Thorn, Blake Thorn; two great grandchildren, Anna Thorn and Jace Thorn. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Stewart Cemetery, US Highway 641 North in Almo. Luke Puckett will officiate. Blake Thorn, Bobby Barron, Harvey Puckett, Jeff Thorn, Barry Darnall, and Cory Underhill will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM, Friday, June 14 and 8-10:30 AM, Saturday, June15 at the Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Stewart Cemetery Fund, c/o Sue Thweatt, 2161 Radio Rd., Almo, KY, 42020. Online condolences may be left at www.imesfh.com. Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray is in charge of arrangements.
