On June the 26, 2019 James B. McKeldin, Sr., age 86, affectionately known as “Zeke” peacefully passed away after a long battle with Dementia. Mr. McKeldin was a lifelong resident of Arbutus. He worked at G. Heileman Brewing Company for 35 years. He also did home improvement work in Arbutus for many years. James was born on October 18, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Emma McKeldin (nee Schaeffer) and to the late William Frederick McKeldin. He is the beloved husband of the late Sonya May McKeldin; loving father of James B. McKeldin, Jr. and his wife Lisa Anne McKeldin; dear brother of Audrey Spitzer, Esther Cullum, George McKeldin, the late Doris Serio, the late William McKeldin and the late Ted McKeldin. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends. Family members and friends will honor James’ life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME (Arbutus) with a public viewing on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Monday, July 1, 2019 beginning at 11am. Interment to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park. At the family request in lieu of flowers donations in James’ memory may be directed to the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, 29449 Charlotte Hall Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland 20522.
