Mr. Jackie Russell, 65, of Benton, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at his home. Mr. Russell was born on February 2, 1954 in Murray, KY to the late James (Joe) and Robbie Donelson Russell. He was an avid hunter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Russell and Jamie Russell, as well as a sister, Deborah Russell. Those surviving include two sons, Jason Russell (April) of Benton, KY and Harold Bess of Colorado; three daughters, Jessica Russell of Memphis, TN, Deserie Russell of Calvert City, KY, Sherry Faulkner (Patrick) of New Mexico; three brothers, Jimmy Russell, Jerry Russell, Jeff Russell; four grandchildren, Brittany Epps, Stephanie Searcino, Nolan Russell, Houston Russell and three great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 11 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Robert McKinney will officiate and burial will follow at Fossett Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brandon Treas, Larry Dismore, Aaron Russell and Austin Russell. The family will receive visitors from 5 PM-8 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to help his family with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be shared at www.imesfh.com.
