Frank Alan Reed, age 73, of Flat Rock, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan. Born on April 22, 1946 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Frank Augusta and Edith Idesa (Mickley) Reed Jr. On January 12, 1981 he married Susan Faluba in Colorado Springs, CO. He was employed with General Motors as a Electrician Tech until retiring in 2012. Frank served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years from April 10, 1965 to March 5, 1969 during the Vietnam War. Where he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, watching Family Feud and preparing meals with his Ninja foodie. He loved his Shihtzu, Shadow. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister Patricia Swope. He is survived by his sons Matthew Reed of Flat Rock, and Sean Reed of Denver, CO; daughter Tamara (William Chinchak) Harris of Rose City, MI; grandchildren Conrad and Jennifer; sister Linda Carr of Denver, CO. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
