Elzic (Fred) Alfred Perry, age 59, of Chattahoochee Hills, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. He was born on March 21, 1960, in Atlanta to Joe and Bettye (O’Moore) Perry. He served in the U.S. Navy and then worked as a postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Jones and Kathleen Chapman; and brothers, James and Stephen Perry. He is survived by: daughter, Shannon Perry of Meridian, MS; sons, Dylan Perry of New Orleans, LA, and Patrick Perry of Meridian, MS; sisters, Royce (Rags) Evans and her husband, James, of Chattahoochee Hills and Patty Perry of Vero Beach, FL; and brothers, Dennis Perry of Fairburn and Mike O’Moore of Cincinnati, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2019, in the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home. Dr. Gene Tyre will officiate. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
