Eileen was born September 10, 1923 in New York, NY. She was a resident of Garnerville for the past 69 years She worked for over 25 years as a Principal Library Clerk at Rockland Community College. Eileen dedicated her life to family and community. She was a past president of the SW Johnson Ladies Auxiliary and the Haverstraw Little League Ladies Auxiliary Eileen was predeceased by her husband Raymond J Tonkin Sr, a son Raymond J Tonkin Jr, a daughter Barbara Tonkin and a granddaughter Meaghan Fasano-Abrams. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Tonkin and her son Michael Tonkin Sr as well as 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9:15 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 26 John Street, Stony Point, NY 10980. Burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
