Dr. Larry D. Edwards, age 82 died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Jackson, TN after a brief illness. He was born to the parents of Richard and Ann Hare Edwards in Macomb, ill. He retired as Doctor of Medicine and was retired from the Army Medical Corps as a Colonel and was a Gulf War Veteran. He enjoyed studying the bible, and would read his Bible in Hebrew and Greek, loved to travel, and loved his family and the work God gave him to do. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann Will Edwards of Jackson, TN; one son, Elliot (Sara) Edwards of Irondale, AL; two daughters, Sharon (Sean) Evans of Jackson, TN; and Elizabeth (Tim) Stratton of Jackson, TN; four grandchildren, Peyton Stratton, Emily Stringfellow, Rachel Anderson, and Lauren Edwards; four Great-grandchildren, McKenna Edwards, Jake Anderson, Tinsley Anderson, and Blair Edwards; and one sister, Patricia Holden. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marcella Edwards and a brother Marshall.
