Brown, 83, a resident of Union City, died Monday, June 10, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Dukedom, Tn. Pallbearers will be Scottie Jones, Tony Jenkins, Blake Bullion, John Mack Long, Lucas Garland, and Dylan Smothers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Thompson, Richard Holt, Dale Arnold, and Matt Underwood. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born on June 25, 1935 in Hickman, KY daughter of the late James and Earlie (Bledsoe) Ellegood. She married Randall Brown on August 29, 1980, and he passed away on January 3, 2004. She retired from the former Salant and Salant Manufacturing where she was a machine operator for fifteen years. She was a member of Union City Church of God. Mrs. Brown is survived by five daughters, Nancy Malmstadt of Hornbeak, Normandy Birger of Colorado Spring, Co, Deborah Jones of Union City, BeJaye Ezell of Martin, Ramona “Janie” Long of Union City; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Katherine Owens, brother, Billy Joe Kelly, and sister, Ruby Hendricks.
