Dennis’ Obituary Mr. Dennis Martin Shoup age 75 of Jonica Gap Rd. Morganton passed away peacefully on Saturay June 22, 2019 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Shoup was born on November 23, 1943 in Seattle, WA., the son of the late Harry Shoup and the late Betty Martin Shoup. Before retirement Dennis had been a builder for many years. He was a loving and caring person who loved out outdoors and the mountains. He was preceded in death by his wife Cherry Shoup. Dennis was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mr. Shoup are one son, Martin Shoup of Carson City, NV., one brother, Jesus Sorordo of Morganton, one aunt, Barbara Shoup of Santa Clara, CA., several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. No services are planned at this time as per Dennis’s request. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Mr. Shoup’s memory.
