Deborah’s Obituary Mrs. Deborah Todd Smith age 61 of 98 Easterling Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday June 20, 2019 following an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was born on June 5, 1958 in Albany, GA., the daughter of Earlene Kaufman Todd and the late David Todd. Deborah was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father and also a sister, Susan Todd Douglas. Deborah was of the Methodist faith. Surviving Mrs. Smith are her loving husband and best friend of thirty seven years, Vernon Smith of Blairsville, mother and stepfather, Earlene and Sam Garcia of Albany, one stepdaughter, Rosalind Henderson of Murphy, NC., one stepson, Vernon and Adrienne Smith III of Peachtree City, GA., one brother and sister in law, David and Suzette Todd of Albany, GA., four grandchildren, Caitlin Henderson, Susannah Henderson, Vernon Smith IV and Bennett Smith, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Deborah’s memory.
