David’s Obituary Surrounded by his loving family, on June 28, 2019. Age 58. Of Gloucester City. Beloved son of the late Dave and Marlene Pollander. Survived by his daughter, Leah Pollander Fowler and her husband, Tommy Fowler; cherished grandchildren, Gabriella and Baby Tommy; wife, Maria; brother, Ron Pollander and his wife, Fran; nieces, Francesca and Julianna Pollander and the many Barron nieces and nephews; his longtime friends, Jose and Matt; Brothers and Sisters of the Gloucester City Police Department, his boating family and his beloved dogs, Chase and Bentley. Dave was the owner and operator of Dave’s Auto Repair & Towing in Gloucester City for over 35 years. He was a self-made man who took the greatest pride in helping others. Dave was the tow truck operator for the Gloucester City Police Department, member of the Gloucester City Lakes Association, member of Gloucester City Small Business Association and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed trips to the shore, boating, fishing and most of all, relaxing. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, July 6th from 10:30 AM to 1 PM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 PM in the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to his family.
