Darlene Rae Lausen October 03, 1927 – June 09, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Darlene Rae Lausen, age 91, a resident of Cosmopolis, died on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Mrs. Lausen was born on October 3, 1927, in Miller, South Dakota to Haarvey and Genevive (Fisher) Jenner. On February 8, 1948, she and Harvey L. Lausen were married in St. Lawrence, South Dakota. The couple moved to Minnesota in 1950, then to Washington in 1957. They initially lived in Hoquiam for 26 years prior to moving to Cosmopolis. Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Regina Lanning of Cosmopolis and Pamela Porter of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Mearl Jenner of Miller, South Dakota and Roger Jenner of Brookings, South Dakota three sisters, Evelyn Marshall of Rapid City, South Dakota, Thelma Grimm of Arizona and Donna Rylie of Madison, South Dakota. The extended family has two grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey and a brother, Raymond Jenner. At her request, there will be no funeral service. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Cancer Relay for Life team on the Harbor. Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
