Danny’s Obituary Danny Waldon Cook, age 57 of Bolt, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2:34 PM. Born on February 10, 1962 at Cirtsville, he was the son of the late John Paul Cook and Juanita Marie Daniel Cook. Danny was a carpenter and had attended Maple Fork Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his wife Tracy, and visiting the beautiful parks of West Virginia. He loved being a carpenter because he said Jesus was a carpenter. His other great love was cooking. Danny loved his family and friends. He also loved his Carpenter’s Union Family and all the support he received during his battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Cook, and sisters Pat and Darlene Cook. Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tracy Millwood Cook; daughter, Savanna Williams of Harper; brothers, Arnold Cook, Denzil Cook and wife, Mona, Roger Cook, Jerry Cook, Paul Cook, and Johnny Cook; sisters, Linda Satterwhite, Brenda Stanley and husband, Jerry, Elizabeth Vincent, Susie Fridley and husband, William, Alice Quinto and husband, Andrew, and Louise Price. Many nieces, nephews and his loving pet, Samantha, that brought him much comfort also survive. A memorial service will be held at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 3 PM with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
