Betty’s Obituary Betty Jo LaFollette, age 83 of Parrottsville, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Dillard and Samantha Franklin; sisters Dessie Winters, Reba Ottinger, Rosetta Ottinger, and Mary Davis; and brothers Milburn, Kenneth, William, and Roger Franklin. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Howard LaFollette; daughters Shirley (Ronnie) Sane and Sandra (Harold) Kesterson; son Wendell (Wilma) LaFollette; grandchildren Brad (Judy) Sane, Christy (Joe) Haynes, April (David) Stout, Julie (Justin) Sane, and Jason (Kristi) Kesterson; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister Ollie (Junior) LaFollette of Ohio. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm on Wednesday in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Deal officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 13, 2019 in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Salem Lutheran Church, 3001 Salem Road, Parrottsville, TN 37843.
