Betty Jean Rhoten, 79, of Bristol, TN passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN. She was born in Bristol, TN on December 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Jessie Paul Overbay and Bessie Grubb Overbay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Roy Clyde Rhoten; and two sisters and one brother. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Bristol, TN. She had worked as a floral arranger with various florist shops and was an avid bowler and bowled on many league teams over the years. Betty is survived by a son, Jeffrey Scott Rhoten and his wife, Susan, of Bristol, TN; two sisters, Carolyn Morton and Ella Ruth Scyphers; two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
