She became a naturalized US citizen as young adult. She served with honor in the U.S. Foreign Service. She leaves behind no immediate survivors. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Forest Hills Nursing Home at 4901 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. at 11:00 AM.
