Ms. Polly Alesia Spearman, 59, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her residence following a brief illness. Ms. Spearman was born April 4, 1960 in Swainsboro to J. M. Spearman and Polly Drake Spearman. She was preceded in death by her father. Ms. Spearman grew up on the family farm near Norristown. She was a graduate of Adrian High School where she played basketball, was a cheerleader and was crowned Miss Adrian High School. She enjoyed fishing, riding horses and music. Ms. Spearman loved her family and friends unconditionally. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her mother, Polly D. Spearman of Norristown; sons, Alan (Kellie) Scarboro of Swainsboro, Blake and Josh Griffin, both of Tifton; brothers, Tyron (Sandra) Spearman of Tifton, Bruce Spearman of Norristown; sister, Jennie (Bobby) Hodges of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Jace Scarboro, Kaleigh Rae Scarboro, Annabelle Griffin; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Graveside Services will be at Braswell Cemetery in Adrian 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 with Dr. Hal Wilson officiating.
