Valerie Rae Anderson, age 62, of Polk City, passed away on May 12, 2019 at Unity Point-Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Born on October 11, 1956, in Ames, Val was the daughter of Ervin and Ardelle (Earwicker) Hidlebaugh. She graduated from Ballard High School in 1974. Val was united in marriage to Delmar Anderson at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley on November 25, 1978.
