Sharon L. Wisnasky, age 74 of Cottage Hills, IL, died Thursday, May 09, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Alton, IL. She was born on Wednesday, July 19, 1944, in Cottage Hills, IL, the daughter of Merwin and Florence (nee Carter) Wisnasky. On Thursday, May 19, 1977, she married William J. Wisnasky, Sr. who survives. She was a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle, Edwardsville, IL. She was born in Fort Russel Township, Cottage Hills, IL. She has lived there, for the most part, all her of life. In her earlier years she was the first woman foreman for Kiddie Land with American Banner Amusements, Marine, IL. She volunteered, her passion was volunteering for the Community Hope Center, Cottage Hills, from 1988 until 2005, at the time of her illness. She enjoyed family, her grandchildren, cross stitching, puzzles, card games, board games and her favorite holiday was Halloween. Survivors include: Husband – William J. Wisnasky Sr., Cottage Hills, IL Daughter – Kathy E. Wells, Casey, IL Daughter – Amelea Goers, Wood River, IL Son – William J. Wisnasky Jr., Cottage Hills, IL Daughter – Sherry E. (Andrew) Skaggs, Alton, IL Daughter – Audrey E. (Timothy) Crider, Marion, KY Step Child – Carol Cates Asbury, Alton, IL Step Child – Sharon (Russell) Scott, Greenville, IL Step Child – Debby (Bill) Webb, ., AZ Step Child – Mary Willis, Mulberry Grove, IL Step Child – Richard (Jackie) Wisnasky, Collinsville, IL Step Child – Cathy Neer-Vaughn, Greenville, IL Step Child – Barbara Oney, Greenville, IL Step Child – Joseph (Caye) Cates, ., CA Grandchildren – Forty three Great Grandchildren – Sixty Great Great Grandchildren – Six. She was preceded in death by: Father – Merwin — Wisnasky Mother – Florence — Wisnasky nee Carter Son – Teddy Wisnasky – stillborn infant Brother – Ronald Wisnasky Brother – Clifton Wisnasky Brother – Jessie Wasnaski Sister – Audrey Schuster Grandchild – Heather Crider Grandchild – Kanda Crider Step Son – Dennis Wisnasky. Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2019, at Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel, IL and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel, IL. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel, IL., with Harold Williams , Apostolic Tabernacle, Edwardsville, IL, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Carpenter, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
