Obituary for Russell W. Schaefer Russell W. Schaefer, 91, Lady Lake, FL died Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He was born in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Lady Lake in 1989. He retired from General Electric Corp. where he worked for more than 30 years as Manager, Design Change Planning in the GE Aircraft Engine division. He was an avid golfer and fixer of everything mechanical. Preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, of 61 years. He is survived by: 3 daughters: Barbara (James) Cerilli; Betty (Kim) Horton; Susan (Paul) Hritz; and 1 son Richard (Christine) Schaefer; 9 Grandchildren: Gregory (Tammy) Cerilli, Geoffrey Cerilli, Brian (Sarah) King, Adam (Stephanie) King, Ashley (Rustin) Dixon, Stephen Schaefer, Kelsey Horton, Natalie Hritz and Julianna Hritz; and 5 Great Grandchildren Caroline Cerilli, Brayden King, Nolan King, Everett King and Greyson Dixon. Memorial services will be held at the Lakeside Chapel in Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231-3099, (513) 521-7003. Date to be determined. Interment will be in the Garden of Roses. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
