Peter Joseph Cappelli, 66 of Glen Mills, PA formerly of Milmont Park, died Tuesday May 21, 2019 in his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he lived most of his life in the Glen Mills area and from 1976-1985 in MIlmont Park, PA. Pete’s Served in the United States Naval Reserves as a Seabee. Pete was a heavy equipment operator, currently working for Riggs Distler & Co. He retired recently after 42 years with the International Union of Operating Engineers. Formerly, Pete, along with his brothers, was an owner of the Cappelli Group, Inc. he was a past President of Suburban Contractors’ Association. Pete enjoyed cooking and playing golf but his greatest joys came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. Predeceased by his father Dominic J. Cappelli. Survived by his wife: Kathleen (Walsh) Cappelli, one daughter: Kimberly J. (Anthony) Nepi and two sons: Peter J. (Lindsay Mc Connell) Cappelli, Jr. and Nicholas D. (Lyndsey Jacobsen) Cappellli, his mother Palma (Brancaleoni) Cappelli and his siblings Betty Cappelli Haase Dominic J Cappelli, Jr., The Honorable Richard M Cappelli and Joseph C Cappelli. Also survived by his 5 grandchildren. Visitation Friday May 31, 2019 from 9-10:15am at Our Lady of Peace Church Milmont Ave. Milmont Park, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
