Obituary for Michael O. Brown Michael “Mo” Brown 73, died April 27, 2019 after open heart surgery with family and friends by his side. Mo was born August 31, 1945 in Orlando, FL to J.D. and Lola Brown from Tuscaloosa, AL. Mo was an active outdoors man who hunted both out West and more recently in Georgia. He started his career in the Banking Business and moved on to an entrepreneurial career which included the nursery business, running a Fox Pen to a Cattleman. After retirement he and his wife continued to enjoy the outdoor life and managed a hunting camp in southwest Georgia for four years where close friends were invited to hunt and enjoy the views. His hobbies included competing on horseback in team penning, building out guns and driving racecars on the dirt track at Volusia County Speedway at Barberville where he won rookie of the year in mini stock in 2007 at the age of 62. To Mo, age was never a barrier for this adrenal junkie. Mo is survived by his wife: Sharon Brown of 28 years; his son: Mathew Brown; his daughter: Leslie Brown and his grandchild: Cheyenne; his brother: Ron Brown and his wife Connie; and Ron’s son: Wes Brown and his wife Julie.
