Mary Jo’s Obituary Mary Jo Rohla, 83 years died May 21, 2019 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on August 21, 1935 in Plains, KS, he daughter of Mortrose “Mont” and Delia (Kinsal) Gowens. Mary Jo was raised and attended school in the Meade community. She married David Rohla on September 15, 1977. Mary Jo worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church, Silvertones and former member of the Rebekah Lodge. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tresha Ottis; brothers, Bill, Charlie, Ernest, Amos and Martin Gowens; sisters, Ilene McCammon and Elsie Ebeling.
