Lloyd W. Geiger of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2019. Lloyd was born on February 21, 1940, in Flint, Michigan to the late Wilber and Margarite Geiger. He was a long time local Banker and was involved in the organization of the Bank of Bradenton, First Bradenton Bank and Community Bank of Manatee. In retirement, he stayed busy operating his tax and accounting business. He was active for many years in Ducks Unlimited, Sarasota Fish and Game, Sertoma Club (Sertoman of the Year 1976), and Manatee Bankers for Affordable Housing (President 1991-1993). He enjoyed spending many nights and weekends supporting his children, whether it was a skating competition, a BMX race or a softball game. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Patsy; his four children Wilber Geiger (Colleen), Jeremy Geiger (Corina), Jennifer Geiger, and Allison Carter (Chase); and his six grandchildren Cassidy Geiger, Amber Winterbottom, Madison Armstrong, Heath Geiger, Scott Armstrong, and Abbigail Geiger. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th Street W. Bradenton FL 34205.
