Kenneth “Ken” Dean Cartrette, age 61 of the Cribbtown Community in Chadbourn, entered into rest on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro, NC. Born on the twentieth day of May in 1957 in Horry County, Ken was the son of the late Dillie Cartrette and Daisey Lizzie Ann Cribb. Ken was also preceded in death y his siblings, Ferril Cartrette, Michael Cartrette, and a grandson, Ashton Cartrette. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bobby Cartrette and Pastor Darrel Cartrette officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Cribbtown Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service, at the Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Annetta Jo Thompson Cartrette of the home; sons, Brian Cartrette (Laura) of Chadbourn, Michael Cartrette of Tabor City; daughters, Kimberly Michelle Cartrette of Whiteville, Margaret Graham (Derrick) of Loris, Brittany Candace Cartrette of Loris; siblings, Hilda Reynolds (Charles) of Lake Waccamaw, Kathryn Harrelson of Wilmington, Shelva Locklear of Chadbourn, Pat Gerald (Gene) of Loris; sister-in-law, Ethel Cartrette, and 11 precious Grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal Cora, Chase, Drake, Ashton, Makenzie, Carlos, Kaylee, Jase, Katlyn, Adalynn. Worthington Funeral Home is serving the Cartrette Family.
