Kenneth H. Vedder, 55, of Grantville passed away peacefully Friday, May 24, 2019 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Joanne M. Kreiser Vedder with who he celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. Born Baltimore, MD on May 29, 1963, he was the son of the late Rudolph Avery and Juanita Huff Vedder. He was a heavy equipment operator for Pennsy Supply and served in the U.S. Navy. Ken enjoyed NASCAR, flying drones, the Pittsburgh Steelers, his dogs, and loved his children. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons Kenneth H. Vedder, Jr. of Wayne, OH, Donald C. Vedder and Logan J. Vedder both at home, Matthew of Erie, three brothers Rudy Vedder, Jr. of PA, Avery Veder of MD, Stanley Vedder of PA, and two sisters Charmaine Holmes Vedder of MD, And Lorraine Vedder Fuller of MD. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
