Kenneth Gross February 24 1934 March 29 2019

Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth (Kenny) Gross, 85 of Freeport, died Friday, March 29, 2019. Born February 24, 1934 in Stephenson County, he was the son of Kenneth and Mary (Barker) Gross. He married Patricia Lindegard June 1, 1968. Kenny was a faithful and loyal servant of his God, Jehovah. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses March 19, 1962, and served as an elder in the Freeport Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. We are all looking forward to Jehovah’s promise of the future when Kenny along with many others will be resurrected back to life on earth and he will have his eyesight restored. Kenny worked at Burgess Battery and later owned T.J. Auto Sales where he repaired and sold cars and boats. Kenny was a remarkable person as he was blind. He loved to ski and swim, he loved people and was well respected in the community. Kenny is survived by his wife Pat, sister Arlene Rayhorn, and preceded in death by his parents, one brother Roger Gross and one sister Marilyn Rhodes. Funeral is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Freeport Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1000 Longhorn Court, Freeport, IL 61032. Mark Garland, Elder, will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00, with the Memorial Service starting at 2:00 p.m. Read More
