Obituary for Kari Joyce (Selmer-Olsen) Print KARI JOYCE May 13, 1938 – September 11, 2018 Lancaster, SC formerly of Cornwall, NY Kari Joyce, a former Cornwall, NY resident, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2018 at her home. She was 80 years old. The daughter of the late Reidar Selmer-Olsen and Aasta Kjode, Kari was born on May 13, 1938 in Norway. A family statement reads: Kari loved her family, friends, birds and flowers. She will be missed greatly. Kari is survived by her loving husband Adrian M. Joyce; her son: Mark Joyce and his wife Heather; her daughters: Monica (Joyce) Waite and Kiersten Meier and her husband Christopher; six grandchildren and two great grandchild. Memorial Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 24th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Chapel Service will be held at 12 p.m. following the visitation. Inurnment will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mountainville, NY. Memorial Contributions in Kari’s name may be made to Hudson Valley Honor Flight, PO Box 375, Walden NY 12586.
