FUNK, JOSEPH W. MAY 12, 2019; of West Seneca, NY formerly of Cheektowaga, NY; age 80; Beloved husband of the late Jane D. (nee Godzik) Funk. Dearest father of Pam (Paul) Krieger and Jeff (Kelly) Funk. Loving grandfather of Jason and Cassidy. Brother of the late Charles Funk. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. and from Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Joseph was a longtime employee of Westinghouse retiring as Manager of Hourly Relations and a member of the Retirees Association, served with various Cheektowaga and West Seneca organizations and a member of the Our Lady Help of Christians Holy Name Society.
